Planet Zoo 2 Price

The official pre-order page sets two prices: $49.99 for the Standard Edition and $64.99 for the Deluxe Edition, with matching GBP and EUR figures. Steam's US listing agrees exactly. This page collects the regional prices, explains what the $15 gap covers, and flags what is still unconfirmed about the Deluxe contents.

Planet Zoo 2 has two prices, both published by Frontier itself. The Standard Edition is $49.99 and the Deluxe Edition is $64.99 at US suggested retail price. Steam's US listing carries the identical numbers, which makes this the rare pre-release price picture with zero conflicts.

The Xbox store lists the same two editions at £39.99 and £54.99, which independently confirms the GBP row. Steam's US prices ($49.99 and $64.99) match the official SRP exactly, and the Japanese Yen listing reads ¥6,200 for the standard build. Other regional currencies were not published on the official page at the time of writing, so we list only prices we can trace to a storefront.

One discount exists. The PlayStation Store notes that accounts which already bought Planet Zoo on PlayStation see a 10% discount on the Deluxe Edition pre-order price. That is a store-level note on Sony's page, not a Frontier price change, and no equivalent has been published for the other three channels.

Does Planet Zoo 2 have pre-order bonuses?

Yes, and both console stores itemise it. The official pre-order page lists a Bonus Content Pack included with both editions when bought ahead of launch, and the PlayStation and Xbox pages spell out the three items in it: the Toucan Eat Shop and Signage, three unique animal donation bins, and a Tiger Photo Stand-In Wall. That wording appears identically on both storefronts, so the contents are now confirmed rather than reported.

Will it be cheaper elsewhere?

Authorized-key sites sometimes undercut day-one SRP, but their pricing changes hourly and their keys are region-locked. The prices we stand behind are the ones on the four official storefronts. Any discount claims from third-party sellers are outside this wiki's scope.

FAQ

Is Planet Zoo 2 free?

No. It is a paid release at $49.99, and there is no free demo. Any "free download" offer is piracy, and the game has not even launched.

Why is the Deluxe Edition $15 more?

The Deluxe Edition bundles in the Deluxe Upgrade Pack, which PlayStation and Xbox both describe as an additional six animal species plus exclusive animal signs. Frontier has still not named those six on a first-party page, which is why the editions page labels that row partially confirmed.

Is there any pre-order discount?

One, and only on one storefront: PlayStation takes 10% off the Deluxe pre-order for accounts that already own Planet Zoo on PlayStation. The pre-order incentive everywhere else is the Bonus Content Pack, not a price cut.

Do pre-orders get a discount?

No discount is listed on any official channel. The official page advertises the Bonus Content Pack as the pre-order incentive, not a price cut. The release date is October 13, 2026, so pre-order pricing has under two weeks to run, and the longer-term content picture is on the DLC page.
